CLIMATE:

~ Temperate with oceanic influences

~ Mean annual temperature of 16.6° C. (62° F.)

~ Seasons clearly marked with warm summers and cool winters

Winemaking Method:

~ Grapes are selected and hand picked from the vineyard

~ Short, cold maceration before pressing and immediately chilled to +5°C

~ Oak fermented in new barrels between 14°C a 18°C.

Winemaker´s Notes:

This grape has special characteristics in the skin where the majority of the aromatic richness is found as well as important quantities of polyphenols. This demands special attention from the winemakers when receiving the grapes in the winery.

Appearance: Bright amber colour

Nose: Intense notes of apricot and tropical fruits and a subtle floral note

Palate: A rich sensation that is full bodied on the palate with balanced natural acidity and a long finish.

Serving temperature: 8º C to 10º C.

Food pairings: Ideal for white meats, sweetbreads and seafood.
