Winemaking Method:

~ Grapes are selected and hand picked once the seeds have fully ripened

~ Second selection process at the winery

~ Cold maceration in stainless steel tanks during 4 days

~ Total maceration during 3 weeks

~ Daily pissage and delestage

~ Fermentation between 20° C and 24° C

Oak ageing: 6 – 9 months

Winemaker´s Notes:

Originally from Bordeaux, the Petit Verdot grape variety was introduced to Uruguay by the Juanicó winery where it thrives.

Appearance: Deep ruby colour

Nose: Floral aroma with notes of black plum and spice

Palate: Full bodied with strong but smooth tannins and long finish

Serving temperature: 18°C. to 20°C. (64°F to 68°F.)

Food pairings: Ideal for all strong flavoured dishes
