EJSA intends to establish commercial relationships with its suppliers based on mutual acquaintance and trust by stressing the importance of quality and service in the definition of orders.
1. In our relationship with suppliers, EJSA always ensures the well-balanced fulfilment of the following principles:
1.1. Objective and permanent assessment of the fulfilment of the agreed specifications.
1.2. Free competition for suppliers of the same material or service.
1.3. Loyalty to suppliers that have a good performance.
2. As a way of establishing transparent relationships with suppliers, the following assessment and communication mechanisms have been defined:
2.1. Purchase terms and conditions with specifications and conditions for the acceptance of batches.
2.2. Assessment of deliveries based on the information submitted by the acceptance check.
2.3. Assessment of the supplier through previously agreed procedures.
2.4. Allocation of responsibilities to inform the supplier of the existence of these mechanisms and the systematic feedback on their management.
3. EJSA does not allow its employees to receive gifts, presents or any benefit for themselves from suppliers of goods or services. The best gift that we can receive is delivery in due time and manner. Should the supplier want to give a present anyway, he/she may give it to the company and not to any of its employees, managers or directors.
Certain benefits are excluded from this consideration:
3.1. marketing promotional elements such as diaries, caps, T-shirts and
3.2. airlines’ frequent flyer miles.
3.3. In other cases which might raise doubts, the authorization of the board shall be required.
