OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY
- One of EJSA’s commitments is to look after occupational safety and health at work, giving priority to the application of preventive management strategies, developing analysis of incidents and efficient responses in the event of accidents, registering their details in a way that enables us to prevent them from taking place in the future and applying the philosophy of continuous improvement to our OHS System.
- EJSA complies with all legal regulations relating to Occupational Health and Safety and has a OHS management system that fulfils OHSAS 18001 guidelines.
- EJSA considers that respect for occupational safety and health at work is a commitment of the company and its co-workers and therefore, it has implemented staff training and involvement mechanisms for the control of the proper operation of the system. In order to ensure said fulfilment, there is a Safety Committee consisting of a representative of authorities and a representative of workers of each production sector: Vineyard, Cellar, Operations, Engineering and Maintenance, Tourism and Events. The Committee is chaired by the Operations Manager. The Health and Safety Supervisor is also part of this committee and provides advice.
- All the executive staff of the company are committed to the supervision of occupational safety and health practices and the Executive Board authorizes them to and especially demands that they make sure said practices are respected in their entirety.
