At Establecimiento Juanicó, we have been on the path of sustainability for many years. In this pursuit, we developed an organic vineyard certified by the Uruguayan Agroecology Network. The Gamaret variety, developed in Switzerland by crossing Gamay and Reichensteine, adapts very well to organic farming due to its natural resistance to peronospora and botrytis.
We harvest the grape early, looking for the most lively and fresh profile.
The vinification, also of organic certification, seeks to feature the floral and red fruit aromas, maintaining a smooth mouthfeel and good acidity.
